Brandi passante made an instant sensation after her role in A&E's reality series 'StorageWars. Also, it featured Jarrod Schulz, Passante's boyfriend for many years, and later husband. In the show, storage units that haven't been paid their rent over the last 3 months are auctioned off. Brandi and Jarrod, who run and operate the "Now and Then thrift shop located in Orange, California, participated in the program in hope of purchasing storage units for low prices. The couple had no idea that the show was going to make reality stars out of the couple! Through the course of the show, their couple became a star. Following their appearance on the TV reality show, the couple were capable of increasing the size of their shop. A spin-off titled Brandi & Jarrod: Married to the Job was developed based on their appearance in Storage Wars.
